Loved your piece. It reminds me of my great grandfather who was born in 1871. He worked full time until he was 87. He then slowed down to 3 days a week in the office.
He managed a commodities company on the exchange in NY. For him work gave his life a sense of purpose and direction.
I am hoping to emulate his example.
