Can't really argue any of your points here. It really starts with communities, states and countries doing the right thing and getting their populations vaccinated so we don't have a pool of unvaccinated people to act as variant incubators. Herd immunity combined with active vaccination works. Measles is a good example.

Its ironic that some political leaders have sought to polarize the issue of public health for them to gain additional power and supporters.

We need a consistent LOUD message: this will be here with us UNTIL we do the right thing! Vaccinating the world is doable proposition and should be done ASAP.
