Excellent piece. Read it on July 4th and seems fitting to remember your brother and so many like him who gave all they had so the rest of us could live our lives.

My Mom's cousin was a Huey MedEvac copter pilot and shot down twice in Viet Nam but lived to tell about it. He wasn't a fan of war or the destruction having witnessed so much in his two tours there.

You have a priceless memento, forever linking you to your brothers sacrifice.
